This weekend is Mother’s Day and the perfect time to focus on keeping all moms - especially, expectant ones - immune healthy. That's why we sat down with new mom and Stellar Biotics Director of Operations, Monica Rubio, to talk about her experience with del-IMMUNE V®, and her advice to other expecting mothers.
How was your health impacted by taking DIV while pregnant with your child?
I was able to keep a healthy pregnancy all throughout the 9 months until delivery.
Were certain symptoms of your pregnancy alleviated while taking DIV?
I think rather than symptoms it was mostly knowing that my immune system was a bit more compromised than regular just because of the pregnancy and that led to DIV giving me peace of mind and confidence that I was healthy.
What is your advice to pregnant or nursing mothers?
Try to take extra care of yourself than you normally would. Pay attention to what you eat, to how you feel and try to relax. A lot is happening in your body, so it’s important to take things slowly and carefully.
Did you take any of the other products? Did you take these products before, and now after, being pregnant?
I took prenatal vitamins and Omega-3 during my pregnancy and a bit afterwards.
Why is daily immune and gut health support important to you?
It’s so important to feel my best and to be healthy. I know gut health is basically everything, so I do try to take care of myself that way
What's your best bit of advice to expectant and new moms?
Life may seem overwhelming after having a baby but take things one day at a time and you’ll be great!
